

The Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has congratulated Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her reappointment as Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), praising her groundbreaking achievements and leadership in global trade.
In a statement issued by her media team over the weekend, Sulaiman-Ibrahim highlighted Dr. Okonjo-Iweala’s transformative contributions as the first woman and African to lead the WTO.

“On behalf of all Nigerian women, I extend heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her reappointment as DG of WTO. This well-deserved recognition reflects her unwavering dedication to fostering global economic progress and equity,” the minister stated.
