The Ambassador and Special Adviser to the National Association of Nigerian Students, Zone D (Presidency), Dr. Idowu Adewumi, has said that the emergence of Senator Monday Okpebholo as governor of Edo State is a collective victory for the people of Edo State who have long awaited transformative leadership in the state.
Adewumi, in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists on Thursday commended Senator Okpebholo for his unwavering dedication and commitment to the development of Edo State.

The statement reads, “This significant victory marks a pivotal moment in the political landscape of the state and underscores the trust and confidence the people have placed in Senator Okpebholo’s leadership.

“Your vision for progress and inclusive governance resonates with the aspirations of our citizens.”
He said, “As a long-time friend and business partner, I have witnessed your tireless efforts to uplift our community.
“Your capacity to listen and respond to the needs of the people is commendable and will undoubtedly guide your administration,” he added.
Adewumi, while expressing optimism about the future of Edo State under Senator Okpebholo’s leadership noted, “I firmly believe that your administration will prioritise education, healthcare, infrastructure, and job creation, fostering an environment where every Edo resident can thrive.
The journey ahead will be challenging, but I am confident that your resolve and strategic vision will steer our state toward greater heights.”
