A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Northern Senatorial District of Ondo State, Alhaji Saliu Adekunle, said the return of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu from his medical vacation will rekindle hope and strengthen the faith of the people of the state that the state will be great again.
This is just as the APC chieftain reassured the governor of the unwavering support of the people of the state as the governor resumes to continue attending to the development needs of the people.
Adekunle, who stated this in a letter to Governor Akeredolu, expressed optimism that the people of the state will always be ready to join hands with him to take the state to an enviable height.
The APC chieftain’s letter to the governor read: “On behalf of the people of the entire Ondo State, I would like to express our utmost joy and relief upon hearing of your recovery. We are grateful that you have regained your strength and are back to leading our state.
“During your period of illness, the people of Ondo State came together in prayerful solidarity, sending positive energy and well-wishes for your speedy recovery.
“Our hearts were filled with gratitude when we received the news of your improved health. Your resilience and determination have been a source of inspiration to us all, reminding us of your unwavering commitment to our great state.”
He stated “Please rest assured that you have our utmost support and loyalty. We appreciate your tireless efforts and the significant strides you have made towards the development and progress of Ondo State.
“Your visionary leadership and groundbreaking initiatives have transformed various sectors and touched the lives of countless people.
“As you continue to lead our state, we encourage you to remain strong and steadfast. Your return has infused us with renewed hope and optimism for a brighter future for Ondo State.
“We stand united behind you, ready to offer our maximum support in achieving our shared goals of excellence, prosperity, and harmony.
“Please remember that your well-being is of the utmost importance. We urge you to prioritise good health, self-care, and regular rest, as these serve as the foundation for effective leadership.
“You have a team of dedicated individuals and a state full of resilient citizens who are willing to stand by you as we continue to navigate the challenges ahead.”
