The Nigerians United For Tinubu/Shettima Mandate (NUFTS) has praised the former Minister of State FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, commending her as a courageous and determined politician who overcame numerous challenges during her tenure.
In a statement signed on Thursday by Mr Ola Adekunle, the Kogi State Coordinator of the group, following a meeting of the State Executives and all 21 LGA Coordinators, Dr Ramatu Aliyu was described as a resolute and unwavering politician who successfully navigated various obstacles while championing the campaigns for the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidency.
The group highlighted Dr Ramatu Aliyu’s unwavering dedication to spreading the message of RENEWED HOPE throughout every corner of Kogi State, emphasizing her role in ensuring the gospel reached far and wide.
The statement further underlined Dr Ramatu Aliyu’s steadfast commitment and support, which played a crucial role in the success of their campaigns to rally for the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima during the April presidential election and subsequent elections.
The group also acknowledged Dr Ramatu Aliyu’s dignified and resilient approach to her official responsibilities during the previous administration, despite her junior ministerial position. They expressed pride in her conduct and character, recognizing her contributions to the development of Kogi State.
“It is worth noting that, in preparation for the election, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu established a remarkable campaign office in Lokoja named APC Unity House.
The office is fully equipped and furnished to high standards and is considered one of the best campaign offices in the North Central region. It served and continues to serve as a hub for progressive activities in the State.”
“Dr Ramatu also spearheaded educational outreach programs, medical outreach programs, palliative support programs, and community development projects, particularly water supply and solar lighting projects. Additionally, she organized campaign vehicles that toured all the LGAs in the State.”
Adekunle, in the statement, urged other leaders to emulate this brand of progressive politics without bitterness. In their view, this approach is crucial for making Nigeria a better place.
