Management of The Federal Polytechnic Offa led by Dr. Lateef Olatunji has procured new 33KVA overhead transformer in order to enjoy stable power supply in the Polytechnic.
This attempt of the management is to bring succor to the Polytechnic community and aid efficiency of staff while carrying out their daily duties.
Responding to the gesture of the management, the Polytechnic Director of Information, Olayinka Iroye said the Management has magnanimously purchased the transformer to lower the cost of disel usage, and improve productivity of staff whose daily works require stable electricity supply. He added that students who reside in the campus hostel will also use the opportunity of stable power to be more studious and enjoy fully all the services and amenities provided in the hostels by the management.
Recall that operation light-up the campuses embarked upon by Dr. Olatunji had led to the installation of solar street lights in the Polytechnic including hostels and other strategic places that require illumination.
The installation of the newly procured transformer will not only ameliorate the epileptic power supply of the main campus but also improve the security status as a result of the illumination.
