Hip hop legend Snoop Dogg, pop star Billie Eilish, and iconic rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to perform at the Paris Olympic Games Closing Ceremony on Sunday, according to a report by Variety.
The performances will be part of the handoff of the Summer Olympic Games from Paris to Los Angeles, California, where a mix of pre-taped and live segments will be featured.
Additionally, the ceremony will include a stunt by Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.
At the conclusion of the event, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass will receive the Olympic Torch, symbolising the official transition as the city prepares to host the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.
All three performers—Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish, and Red Hot Chili Peppers—are Los Angeles natives, adding a local touch to the ceremony.
Snoop Dogg had the honour of carrying the Olympic Torch prior to the Paris Games’ opening ceremony.
