Indigenes of Ekiti local government area of Kwara have been urged to support the reelection bid of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and the lawmaker representing Ekiti state constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Ganiyu Abolarin, for improved development of the area.
Speaking with the Tribune newspapers, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara South senatorial district of the state and Deputy Director Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, Chief Gbenle Adeyemi, said that achievements recorded by the duo in their first term in office should be reciprocated for better development of the people and the community.
“I hereby call on sons and daughters of Ekiti local government area to give their votes to the APC on March 18 to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Abolarin Gani because they have surpassed performance of their predecessors in taking the state to next level of development.
“As indigenes of Ekiti local government, we need to be focused with total commitment to the present administration as this is the only fuel that can keep us moving in order to reach our destination.
“Both Abolarin Gani, the House of Assembly candidate and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the executive governor of Kwara state have done wonderful jobs in nooks and crannies of Ekiti local government area”.
The APC chieftain, who highlighted the 11.16km Osi-Obbo-Ayegunle Road, Osi township Road, completion of KWASU campus, renovation and equipping of all the primary health care facilities in Ekiti, renovation of schools, and construction of new classrooms across the wards and provision of transformers to some communities, as some achievements recorded so far by the APC administration in the state.
Chief Adeyemi, who drummed support for Governor Abdulrazaq’s administration said that the governor had exhibited exemplary leadership style through his focused leadership and commitment to developing the State.
“Despite all the economic challenges, Governor Abdulrazaq and Hon. Abolarin Gani have silenced critics, including the opposition parties through his achievements in every facet of the economy in the state.
“I, therefore, urge all of us in Ekiti local government area to come out next Saturday and vote in en masse for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, as this is only way to permanently put an end to retrogressive administration in the State,” he said.
