Asaba: A youth pressure group from the All progressive party in Delta North; other wise known as “All Progressive Youth Movement for Change”, whose mission and vision statement is “Unity and Progress”. The aim is to unite all the youths and leaders of the party across Delta North.
Members are youths across the senatorial district who are concerned and are perplex with the issues of tendency; which has eaten deep into the fabrics of the party and has cost the party loosing out in the last LGA election across the senatorial district and the State in general.
The youth group, haven arise from their meeting held earlier today at Espanal Hotel Asaba; review the last LGA election with a view of understanding the causes, effects and why the party failed woefully in the election and also comes up with possible solution to guild against such poor performance in subsequent election come 2023.
In their communique,
1. The youth group have identify leaders, who are indifference and never showed concern in the last LGA election; who also left their candidate to run a one man show like a sheep without Shepard and uncared for.
2. Also, they have identify leaders who are supportive to the party in the last LGA irrespective of whatever tendency they claim to belong.
Hence, in their resolution; they youth have resolved to visit all leaders across board;
1. To commend and appreciate those they have identify to be supportive and as a pillar of strength to the party in the last LGA election.
2. To visit those leaders who are indifference and show lack of concern toward the party and its candidate in the last LGA election; as a way of knowing their reason and how they can appeal to them, the need for a united party for progress and winning subsequent election.
Finally, In their stands, the youth body have resolved never to work with any leader who are passive not to have the interest of the party APC; but are moles in the PDP.
