Nationnewslead reports that As Christians across the world mark this year Easter celebration, Dr Desmond Oludare Ojumu has felicitated with Christian faithful across the State. The Chairman/Principal of Ojumu Foundation, Dr. Ojumu in his Easter greetings described this period of holiness as a time to pray and forgive those who have trespassed against us, in order for God’s mercy and grace to abide with us forever just as it is stated in Mathew 6 v14.
Dr. Ojumu opined that this season should be used to demonstrate God’s love as exemplified by Christ who paid the ultimate price of sacrificing himself for all that he( Dr. Ojumu) has deemed it necessary to reach out to the needy and vulnerable in Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency during this Easter with food items such as rice, spaghetti, salt, vegetable oil, seasonings and so on.
Dr. Ojumu further reiterated that the supreme power beyond human explanation that is behind the resurrection of our Lord has built our confidence that the God we serve is indeed mighty and supreme. He then urged Christians to adhere to the principles and teachings of our Lord to eternally renew our faith in Christ.
