Lagos Free Zone, the promoter of the Tolaram Science competition among secondary schools in Ibeju-Lekki, has commended Mr Kabiru Olakunle for graduating with the best result from the School of Transport and Logistics at the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo during its recent convocation ceremony.

Olakunle, who graduated with First Class honours from the university, had previously participated in the 2016 and 2017 editions of the Tolaram Science Challenge while he was a student at Magbon-Alade Senior Grammar School.

Dinesh Rathi, the Managing Director and CEO of Lagos Free Zone expressed his commendation in a statement, describing Olakunle’s accomplishment as a testament to the impact of the Tolaram Science Challenge on him and the advancement of education in the Lekki axis.

Rathi emphasized that Olakunle is a worthy ambassador, and the entire Lagos Free Zone community is proud of him.

He explained that the Tolaram Science Challenge is a social intervention initiative of the company aimed at developing and promoting interest in science-based subjects among students in the local communities.

Rathi acknowledged that Olakunle’s outstanding performance has served as great encouragement for Lagos Free Zone to continue its efforts for the betterment of humanity.

He expressed optimism that Olakunle’s story would inspire many other young individuals, especially those in the area, to strive for excellence.

Rathi mentioned that this year’s edition of the competition has already started on Friday, July 7, and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to identifying and celebrating exceptional students in the region.

He urged Olakunle not to rest on his laurels but to continue striving harder and achieving further success in life.
