Students of the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara escaped through windows as suspected gunmen invaded the school on Monday morning during lectures.
Nationnewslead report that pandemonium broke loose after gunshots were heard around the Department of Science and Lab Technology forcing both lecturers and students to scamper for safety.
According to reports, cult killings in the student community escalated after a final year student of the Department of Mechanical Engineering was gunned down shortly after his final year exams.
Our source also disclosed that one Tony was earlier shot dead and over the weekend, a noodles seller simply identified as Tallest was also killed gruesomely before the lecture hall invasion and unrest of today.
