The Anambra State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Awka on Friday, September 29, 2023, declared Hon Justice Azuka of the Labour Party (LP) as the rightful winner of the Onitsha North 1 State Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
In delivering the judgment, the three-man panel declared Justice Azuka as the rightful winner of the March 16, 2023 election.
They mandated INEC to immediately withdraw the certificate of return issued to Hon. Douglas Egbuna of the PDP.
