Nationnewslead reports that A member of the National Assembly representing Ede federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has made it clear that he will continue to work diligently for the sake of his Federal Constituency in National Assembly.
The lawmaker made this surprising fact while feeding questions from journalists during the maiden edition of media parley organised by Osun Online Media Practitioners Association (OOMPA) held at Osogbo yesterday. He said the parley edition has gave him opportunity to disclose his achievement for the past two years.
The honourable appreciates the good people of Ede South, Ede North, Egbedore and others local governments for the great privilege giving to him to represent them in National Assembly he said he did not take the opportunity for granted.
According to Hon. Bamidele Salam he said he has delivered his promises made when he is running for Office and also pledged to continue to do more. The lawmaker made it known that he has instrumentally processed 11 bills in some area of human life such as Health, Security, Job, Education and few others areas as first timer and the other distinguished honourable members from OSUN.
The honourable made it clear that he is the first timer honourable that has passed highest bill in the house and also said Sickle cell bill he passed has passed second reading.
Salam also said he has sponsored another bills that will encounter unemployment in the country he said he purposed the micro credit finance which is targeted a rating of 10 trillion within 10yrs to support small businesses especially for Nigerians at the age of 40years and below which six out of members of house of Representative as joined him.
He said he has proposed another bills that set aside certain privilege for security personnel that are securing the country, also a bill against rape’.
The lawmaker said apart from lawmaking, he has felicitated a road from Aponda, Oke Gada, Ofatedo down to Osogbo and second one from Awo, Aragberi down to Oyo road boundary, he said the road that as been abandoned for over forty-nine years as been rehabilitation in his two years in office’.
He also said construction of class rooms and others in Logun community and Agodo community has commenced and he has been delivering borehole projects across the constituencies.
