The aquatic and opulent feature of Lagos was recently disrupted with splendour as socialite, Otunba Yemi Lawal, gave out the hand of his daughter, Hafisat in marriage.
The wedding, held recently, was nothing short of a spectacle. The Nikkah took place at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, while the reception was at the Landmark Event Centre.
The epoch event was attended by the high and mighty, including members of the Presidency and notable figures from various sectors dictating the economy.
On the roll call was Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief Adebutu Kessington. Governor Dapo Abiodun, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Ladi Adebutu, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Rev-Mother Esther Ajayi, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, Yemi Edun, Bisi Onasanya and many more.
The gathering was a testament to the widespread admiration and respect for Otunba Yemi Lawal, whose influence extends across both state and industry lines. Titans from the realms of real estate and banking joined in the celebration, further enhancing the event’s grandeur and prestige.
The highest point of the event was the musical display by King Sunny Ade and juju maestro, Chief Ebenezer Obey who thrilled the guests with their performances.
