Osun State Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi, has commiserated with Akire of Ikire Kingdom, Oba Olatunde Falabi, over the death of his wife, Olori Anthonia Aduke Falabi.
Alabi, in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olaniyi Ajibola, described the death of the respected queen as sudden and a rude shock to the entire kingdom.
He, however, opined that the life of selflessness and commitment of the late matriarch remains a great solace for her family and well wishers.
“I sincerely sympathize with our revered royal father, Kabiyesi, Oba Olatunde Falabi, over the demise of his wife.
“I pray God to grant the family and the entire kingdom the necessary fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and rest the soul of our mother”.
The Deputy Governor, also condoled the family of Chief James Olatunbosun Lawal, the Parakoyi of Ikire, on the passing of the philanthropist.
“I want to also commiserate with our royal father on the death of the Parakoyi of Ikire, Chief James Olatunbosun Lawal.
“Obviously, the people of Ikire will greatly miss his good deeds and philanthropic gesture, may he continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
“May Almighty God console us all and continue to protect the entire kingdom”, Alabi submitted.
