The Inspector General of Police, IGP Dr Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the posting of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs) to zonal commands nationwide.
The directive was contained in a signal sighted on Tuesday in Abuja by the Nigerian Tribune, which was signed by the Force Secretary, AIG Oladimji Olarewaju
According to it, AIG Yetunde O. Longe is now AIG Training DTD FHQ Abuja, AIG Haruna Gabriel Garba is now AIG Armament ADI FHQ Abuja, AIG Rex Dundun is now AIG FCID Annex, Kaduna, AIG Durosinmi A. Olatoye is now AIG Zone 2, AIG Afolabi Babatunde Adeniyi is now AIG Zone 3, Yola, Abiodun Oladimeji Asabi is now AIG Zone 12, Bauchi, and AIG Chijioke Chuku is now AIG Investment FHQ Abuja.
Others include AIG Paul Alifa Omata now AIG Zone 16 Yenagoa, AIG Yusuf Adesina Akeem now AIG Zone 8 Lokoja, AIG Bzigu Yakubu Kwazi Dali now AIG Directing Staff NIPSS Kuru-Jos, AIG Ogundare Dare Emmanuel now AIG CTU FHQ Abuja, AIG Williams Adebowale now AIG CMDT PSC Jos, AIG Ari Muhammed Ali now AIG Community Policing FHQ, Abuja, AIG Idris Nagoyo now AIG Mounted Troop, FHQ, Abuja, AIG Rudolf Echebi Obe now AIG Dep Dir Police Property Dev. The signal stated that the posting ” is with immediate effect.”
