A magistrate court has remanded a 50-year-old man for the alleged defilement of a tenant’s six-year-old daughter.
In a family court session held at Iyaganku, Ibadan, a decision was made on Tuesday to detain Musibau Lamidi, aged 50, over allegations of defiling his tenant’s six-year-old daughter.
Presiding over the case, Magistrate Mrs. S.A. Adesina ruled for Lamidi’s remand at the Agodi custodial facility until advice is received from the Oyo State Director of Public Prosecutions.
Lamidi was not allowed to enter a plea, and the case was adjourned until April 25 for further proceedings.

The prosecution, led by Inspector Gbemisola Adedeji, stated that on March 13, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Lamidi allegedly committed the offense.
