The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira has distributed food items to teaching and non-teaching staff across the 9 primary schools in the LCDA.

The distribution of food items comprising rice, beans and garlic which was carried out under the Apatira-led administration food support to public primary school Staffs commenced on Wednesday.

According to the Council chairman, the food distribution was aimed at supporting the welfare of the teachers and non-teaching staff who are instrumental in shaping the future of the children in the community.

The beneficiaries of this kind gesture include teachers and non-teaching staff from Aguntasholo Primary School, Animashaun Primary School, Sijuwade Primary School, Odo-Primary School, Ijeshatedo Primary School, Imam-Shuaibu Primary School, Akanji Primary School, Erinosho Primary School, and Duro-Oyedoyin Primary School.

The Head Teachers and non-teaching staff of the benefiting schools have lauded the Council Boss for his kindness and concern for their well-being.

They expressed their gratitude for the food support, which they said would go a long way in alleviating their financial burden.

Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira’s administration has been known for its people-centred policies and initiatives, and this gesture is a testament to his commitment to the welfare of the people of Itire-Ikate LCDA.

“The food support palliatives distribution is relief package to the teaching and non-teaching staff. It stand as motivation for them to continue to be dedicated and committed to their duties” Apatira said.

Responding to the gesture, the beneficiaries promised to continue working assiduously to ensure the academic excellence of the pupils in their care.
