AFTER weeks of perceived animosity between music star Wizkid and music producer Don Jazzy, the rift appears to have ended following the efforts of fast-rising Mavin Records singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, who united her boss, Don Jazzy, and the award-winning singer.

Wizkid appeared to have dragged Don Jazzy into a media war some weeks back when he threw caution to the wind and called out top celebrities including Davido, Peruzzi, Ladipoe and Don Jazzy in a series of tweets.

Ladipoe had mocked Wizkid’s controversial statement that hip-hop is dead, prompting a fan to call Wizkid’s attention to the shade.

In response, Wizkid jabbed Don Jazzy, hinting that he was not interested in talking to anyone signed to an influencer, referring to Don Jazzy. This led Don Jazzy to unfollow Wizkid on social media.

Don Jazzy had kept quiet but Davido and Peruzzi served Wizkid back in his coin, warning daring him to come out and repeat the expletives he was throwing on social media platforms in the comfort of his room.

The seeming battle between Don Jazzy and Wizkid appeared to have ended on Friday after Wizkid reposted Don Jazzy’s artiste, Ayra Star’s new album.

Ayra Starr recently released her new album entitled “The Year I Turned 21,” which has received positive reception.

Wizkid joined the millions of Nigerians reacting to the album on the X app, acknowledging the work done by the singer and calling her a “super star.”

Don Jazzy responded to Wizkid’s tweet, saying, “Thanks, Big Wiz.”

It is safe to say that Ayra Starr’s new album brought about a positive interaction between Wizkid and Don Jazzy after previous tensions.
