A non-governmental Organization Clean Foundation has disclosed that North faces multifaceted security challenges which need innovative solutions, and robust collaboration between civilian and military.

This was disclosed by the Executive director Cleen Foundation Mr Gad Peter at a two-day workshop for the security agencies, Media, National Human rights, Civil Society and lawyers, aim to promote Civil-Military Relations (CMR ) held at Karma Hotel in Gusau Zamfara state.

The two-day workshop which was opened on Wednesday was organized by the Cleen Foundation with support by Open Society Africa with aim to foster better understanding and promote effective cooperation to enhance national security.

The Executive Director Cleen Foundation Gad Peter disclosed that the workshop was a regional dissemination event on security dynamics, solutions, and civil-military relationships in Nigeria.

“We are honoured to have you join us as we delve into the critical findings of our recent research, which sheds light on the complex interplay between security challenges and civil-military relations in our state and country at large”.

“We want to particularly extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and Due to Insurgency relatives of those who lost their lives recently to the multiple attacks in the state. “It further underscored why this event is timely”.

“Like many other States in Northern Nigeria, faces multifaceted security challenges that require innovative solutions and robust collaboration between civilian and military sectors”.

“Our research aims to provide insights that can guide policy, foster better understanding, and promote effective cooperation to enhance national security”.

“This will enable us to identify actionable solutions and strategies that can address the security challenges we face. With the participation of experts, policymakers, military officials, and civil society representatives”,
