President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It comes less than a week after the council resolved to defer memoranda for several key projects under the Federal Ministry of Works.
Before the commencement of the meeting, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, formally notified the Council of the passing of Ahmed Muhammed Gusua, a former cabinet member and former Deputy Governor of Old Sokoto State.
He called for a minute of silence in honour of the memory of Gusau, who died on May 25th, 2024.
