A former Assistant General of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Ambassador Ibukun Samuel, applauds the Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji, over the appointment of Professor Joseph Ayodele as the new Vice Chancellor of the Ekiti State University, EKSU.
In a statement personally signed by him on Tuesday, he described the newly appointed VC as an accomplished academician and administrator.
According to him, the governor’s decision highlights the significance of experienced and forward-thinking leaders in educational institutions.
The newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Professor Ayodele, hails from Ikere, Ekiti, and has served the university in various roles, starting as a graduate assistant and eventually rising to the position of Vice Chancellor of the institution.
He stated that Professor Babatola’s appointment as Vice Chancellor of the University by the Governor reflects his exceptional track record in the fields of education and leadership.
“With Professor Babatola Ayodele at the helm of affairs, I am optimistic that he will bring about transformative changes that will improve the quality of education and foster the comprehensive development of students.
“Throughout his tenure as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics of EKSU, he has consistently shown an unwavering dedication to academic excellence and has been a guiding light for students and young individuals.
