The chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has disclosed the identity of a Canada-based woman, Amaka Patience Sunnberger, who allegedly threatened to kill, and poison fellow Nigerians living in Canada.

The threat was made in a TikTok video that recently went viral.

In the video, which lasted one minute and 50 seconds, Sunnberger issued threats to poison Nigerians from the Southwest region (Yorubas) and Edo State (Binis), accusing them of harbouring hatred towards the Igbos.

She said, “Record me very well; it’s time to start poisoning the Yoruba and the Benin. Put poison for all una food for work. Put poison for una water, make una dey kpai one by one.”

She vowed to bring poisonous substances to her workplace and harm any Yoruba or Benin person she encountered.

She stated that it was time for the Igbos to retaliate against their perceived haters and disparaged the Yorubas and Binis as being “of no use to society.”

“I want make Ndi Igbo get that heart of wickedness. Una too dey quiet.

“Enough is enough! If you have any means of kpaing them, kpai them commot for road.”

Reacting to the viral video, Dabiri-Erewa announced that Nigerians in Canada have reported Sunnberger to the relevant authorities.

The NIDCOM boss shared Sunnberger’s photo on Wednesday via her official X (formerly Twitter) handle and noted that Sunnberger has since deleted her TikTok account.

“This is the picture of the lady behind the voice. Amaka Patience Sunnberger.

“She has deleted her TikTok account, and a group of Nigerians in Canada are reporting her officially to the relevant authorities in Canada. Thanks for alerting everyone,” Dabiri-Erewa tweeted.
