One of the most sought after in the Nollywood industry, Bukola Ojo, has revealed how she fell in love with acting.
She informed that performing in school and church drama as a child ignited her love for acting and that was what led to pursuing a career in acting.
The actress who made the revelation in a recent interview, also disclosed that getting roles as an upcoming actress was one of the challenges she faced as a newcomer in the movie industry, stating that she has overcome those challenges.
She said: “Having overcome some challenges that comes with getting roles, I have kept pushing on, for every movie roles I get gave me an opportunity to proving myself better.”
The computer science graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, noted that Jaye Kuti’s “Ewon Laafin” movie brought her to limelight.
While speaking about her life as an actress and challenges associated with being a movie super star, Bukola Ojo said: “I just know whenever I go to the market or some places people recognise me and take pictures. Asides that nothing has really changed about me.”
She also advised upcoming actors and actress in the industry to just keep believing in themselves, they have to believe they can do anything they set their mind to do.
