The Dangote Petroleum Refinery is preparing to launch the sale of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
According to a report by Punch, an anonymous source revealed that the product will soon be available on the market, as the government is collaborating closely with the Dangote Group to ensure its distribution.

Another source, contacted by Tribune Online for confirmation, explained that petrol from the refinery is very close.
However, the petrol will be sold exclusively by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), another insider disclosed.
Recall that petrol from the Dangote refinery was originally expected to be available in June. However, the refinery faced a crude shortage and became entangled in a dispute with the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), which had accused the refinery of producing substandard diesel.
