Barrister Abiodun Aribisala, Founder and CEO of the Aribisala Care Foundation, a respected international tax consultant, and a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijesa North and Osun State, has commended Nigerian businessman and industrial magnate Aliko Dangote, CEO of the Dangote Group, for the successful commencement of crude oil and fuel production at his refinery.
In his statement, Aribisala expressed his enthusiasm about the launch of Dangote’s petroleum products, stating that “Dangote’s entry into the petroleum sector will streamline distribution channels, eliminate the nefarious activities of fraudsters, and significantly reduce the corruption associated with subsidies.”
Aribisala commended Aliko Dangote for his vision and dedication in establishing the refinery, which he described as a game-changer for Nigeria’s economic development. He noted that the refinery would not only ensure the availability of petroleum products in the country but also strengthen Nigeria’s position in the global oil market. “This is a monumental achievement that places Nigeria on the map as a major player in oil refining,” he added.
Highlighting the economic benefits of the refinery, Aribisala emphasized that it would create thousands of jobs for Nigerians, boost local content, and foster a new era of industrial growth. “The establishment of this refinery marks a new dawn for our economy. It will provide employment opportunities, enhance skill acquisition, and ultimately contribute to the prosperity of our great nation,” he said.
Aribisala also pointed out that the Dangote Refinery would help reduce the nation’s dependence on imported fuel, thus saving foreign exchange and strengthening the Naira. He applauded the initiative as a testament to Dangote’s unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s economic self-sufficiency. “With the refinery, we can now refine our crude locally and reduce the burden of fuel imports, which has been draining our foreign reserves,” Aribisala explained.
Furthermore, he praised Dangote’s strategic approach to tackling Nigeria’s energy challenges, which aligns with the government’s vision for sustainable economic growth. Aribisala believes that the refinery’s success would inspire other Nigerian entrepreneurs to invest in critical sectors of the economy, fostering an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship. “This is a bold step towards achieving our national objectives, and I hope more business leaders will follow Dangote’s example,” he stated.
Aribisala concluded by urging Nigerians to support and celebrate this remarkable achievement, which symbolizes hope and progress for the country. He reiterated his belief that Dangote’s refinery would be a catalyst for change, not just in the petroleum sector, but across the entire Nigerian economy. “Let us all rally behind this endeavor and work together to build a more prosperous Nigeria for future generations,” he urged.
