

The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Simon Bako Lalong, has extended his condolences to the people of Bokkos following the recent attacks on Daffo and Kwatas villages, which claimed lives and caused casualties.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser (Media), Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Lalong expressed sympathy with the families of the victims, stating that the attacks pose a significant threat to the development of the area and the state at large, as economic and social life has been negatively impacted.

He urged security agencies to increase surveillance and responsiveness to prevent further attempts to terrorize innocent citizens, particularly as agricultural activities are now under serious threat.
The Senator emphasized that the renewed and seemingly coordinated attacks must be addressed holistically, ensuring that those responsible are apprehended and brought to justice.
He also called on communities to strengthen local surveillance, vigilance, and collaboration with security agencies to establish lasting peace and security.
Senator Lalong further urged the government to address the needs of the survivors and implement interventions to provide relief to the victims.
