As part of his developmental efforts, Member Representing Toro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Hon. Ismail Dabo, on Saturday, officially flagged off the construction of a township road in Magama town of the Constituency.

The event marked a significant milestone in the journey to reclaim the lost glory of Toro Federal Constituency, and Hon. Dabo was flanked by APC Stakeholders, including the Secretary, Idris Musa Tama, Col. Umar Tilde (rtd), and Dan Masanin Tilden.

Former Members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Baba Isah Yakubu Toro, Hon. Sani Ahmad Toro (Yariman Toro), and Hon. Yusuf C. Nuhu, graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of collaboration and collective effort in achieving progress.

The APC Stakeholders praised Hon. Dabo’s quality leadership, saying, “Hon. Dabo has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and cooperation with us, prioritizing the overall interest of the party and the constituency.”

They added that ‘His dedication and commitment to the people’s welfare are commendable, and we are confident in his ability to drive positive change.”

The Chairmanship Candidate of the APC in the last LG elections in the state, Comr. Idris Musa Matawai, led the Councillorship candidates of the 17 wards, demonstrating the party’s commitment to grassroots development, empowerment, and inclusive governance, ensuring effective representation, and fostering community engagement.

The State Executive Council of the APC, represented by the Secretary, attended the event, signifying the unity and strength of the party, showcasing solidarity, and reaffirming their dedication to the party’s ideals, principles, and values.

Ismaila Dabo acknowledged that the last local government elections were marred by irregularities, but expressed determination to pursue justice, fairness, and accountability, ensuring that the voices of the people are heard, and their interests represented.

He expressed confidence that Toro LGA is an APC stronghold and pledged to work tirelessly, diligently, and selflessly, to ensure that the people’s trust is not betrayed, and their expectations are met.

Before the flag-off ceremony, Hon. Dabo engaged with religious and political leaders of Tilden Fulani, as well as youth groups, to discuss critical issues affecting Toro Federal Constituency, identify solutions, and develop strategies.

Plans were finalized to address these challenges, and Hon. Dabo expressed optimism about the future of the constituency, envisioning a brighter tomorrow, and a better life for all constituents.

The construction of the township road is expected to transform lives, foster economic growth, stimulate development, create opportunities, and improve the standard of living, and Hon. Dabo thanked the people for their unwavering support, encouragement, and cooperation.
