Former Senator Shehu Sani has highlighted differing views on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) crisis between Senator Dino Melaye and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Sani stated that while Melaye believes the PDP was “murdered,” Kwankwaso claimed the party died naturally and proclaimed himself the “messiah.”
Kwankwaso, NNPP’s 2023 presidential candidate, had said: “PDP is already dead. We left the party because they strayed from the line.”
In contrast, Melaye, a PDP chieftain, lamented: “Damagun, Bature, and Anyanwu destroyed PDP. The party’s commercialisation and privatisation will be exposed.”
Reacting, Shehu Sani via a post on X called for a coroner into the differing views of the duo.
“Senator Dino lamented that PDP was murdered while Senator Kwankwaso submitted that PDP died naturally and declared himself as the messiah. The latter appears to attract more angrier reactions. A coroner is needed,” he wrote.
