Renowned cleric and planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, has urged Southwest governors, senators, members of the House of Representatives, House of Assemblies, traditional rulers, and religious leaders to tell President Bola Tinubu the harsh realities of the current economic hardship faced by Nigerians.
Speaking on Adamimogo FM, Alo emphasised the need for all stakeholders in Yorubaland, including Christian and Muslim bodies, to meet with the President and inform him of the challenges Nigerians are facing.
He suggested that the Ooni of Ife convene a meeting with Southwest monarchs to choose a delegation to meet with Tinubu in Abuja.
Additionally, he recommended that Pastor Adeboye of RCCG and CAN lead a delegation of religious leaders to meet with the President.
Alo described President Tinubu as a listening leader who needs prayer, as some past leaders with good intentions failed to achieve their goals once in office.
He noted that despite Tinubu’s promise of relief, the situation remains unchanged.
The cleric called for a change in NNPC leadership, stating that the organization is a significant contributor to Nigeria’s problems.
He criticised the lack of encouragement from NNPC since the fuel price increase announcement.
Alo emphasized the need for action alongside prayer, saying, “Nigeria is the most prayerful nation in Africa, yet hardship persists. Let’s prioritize love over prayer; by doing this, all shall be well for our nation.”
He clarified that his message is advisory and not intended to criticize Tinubu, traditional rulers, or religious leaders.
“Despite the economic hardship, farm produce are rotten in some areas due to lack of access to good roads to transport the products.
“For minimum wage, I’ve once told Nigerian workers in my prophecy that even if N500,000 is giving to them as minimum wage, it still won’t be enough for them.
“There is no amount of minimum wage paid to workers that will bring relief to them, what they should be concerned about is how price of goods and services will be reduced to the bearest minimum.”
He, however, urged Nigerians to be patient and give Tinubu time to do the needful, saying protest or agitation is not the best solution to the current challenges.
