Earlier, the APC Chairman for the local government, Abubakar Luqman, an architect, stated, “We are confident that all our candidates will emerge victorious in the council poll. This is because all the canvassers being inaugurated today are capable of working towards the victory of our chairmanship candidate and others.
“I urge everyone in the local government to set aside differences and prioritize the interest of our local government above all other concerns. Let us chart a new course for the local government.
“I, therefore, implore the canvassers to collaborate with the existing ward coordinators to ensure the success of our party.”
In his remarks, Mr. Dada said the purpose of the gathering was to strategize for the victory of the chairmanship and other candidates in the polls.
“We have developed our winning strategies with the canvassers. I have a strong interest in this election because the people’s choice emerged as the chairmanship candidate.
“I am confident that Femi’s era will bring a significant transformation to the Ifelodun Local Government,” he said.
