The presidential flagbearer of New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections, Rabiu Musa kwankwaso, has said that it is clear to everybody that the journey of All Progressive Congress (APC) government,is against the poor and they will never change on it.
This was just as he stated that Nigerians more specifically, Northerners have suffered enough and no amount of pressure, fear and attacks will change their minds from changing the narrative.
Kwankwaso made the assertion on Thursday, while several APC members from Dala local government area of the state defected to the NNPP.
He said, “Northern Nigeria should rethink their political positions on the position they found themselves, it is clear to everybody that the journey of APC government is clearly against the poor and they will never change on it.”
Receiving the new members, he said, “that we are receiving over 1,000 decampes from 12 wards of Dala local government council, this shows that the whole APC structure in the local government has collapsed into NNPP.”
“Dala is a known area that historically belongs to us.”
He crowned all the decampes as leaders in their categories, insisting that Kwankwasiyya and NNPP doors are open to all those who are coming in.
Kwankwaso further received decampes from Gwale and Kiru local government areas.
“The APC we collectively created has now turned a vicious circle for the poor with no security and poverty eating deep into the fabric of Nigerians, this is no longer acceptable to the citizens,” he said.
