The Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba AbdulAzees Adelakun, has applauded the Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for prioritising security of lives and property across the state with the adoption of modern security apparatus
Oba Adelakun, who disclosed this during the presentation of symbol of office to Chief AbdulAzees Oladele and Chief Mrs. Mariam Oladele as the new Sobaloju of Ayetoro and Yeye Sobaloju of Ayetoro, noted that the state’s effective security architecture had reduced banditry among other criminalities in the area.
He added that Ayetoro had been opened to new business initiatives due to atmosphere devoid of crime and criminalities, thereby attracting influx of investors as well as promoting socioeconomic development across the state.
The Alaye, represented by the Asiwaju of Ayetoro, Chief Kunle Amosun, promised to continue to complement government’s efforts at checkmating criminality at the grassroots.
The Jagunmolu of Ayetoro and the Baale of Ogodo, Chief Muritala Adedeji and Mutairu, Asamu respectively, lauded the state government on the provision of infrastructural amenities, particularly in the area of education, which he noted had created conducive environment for learning in schools across the state.
The duo, in a release signed by the Zonal Information Officer, Yewa North Local Government Area of the state, Mr Lateef Akintunde, commended the governor for rehabilitating the Imasayi-Igan-Okoto- Ayetoro road, while appealing for its completion.
In his acceptance speech, the new Sobaloju of Ayetoro thanked Alaye of Ayetoro and the council for honouring him and his wife with chieftaincy titles, pledging to improve on his philanthropic gesture, towards improving the living condition of the people of Ayetoro and its environs.
