Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has commended the 2023 presidential candidate of New Nigeria People Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape.
Governor Yusuf made this assertion on Saturday at the wedding ceremony of Aisha Kwankwaso, the daughter of former presidential candidate of NNPP.
According to him, “Dr Kwankwaso, the former Kano state governor, when it comes to politics has laid a very foundation which we his disciples are now emulating.”
He, however, called on people not to read politics to the wedding ceremony adding that those politicians who attended the ceremony were based on invitation.
He commended the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Atiku Abubakar, Olusegun Obasanjo, and governors of Katsina, as well as former governors and members of the state and national assembly.
Yusuf then charged the wife and her husband to prioritise tolerance and understanding for a peaceful married life during their wedding reception at the Emir’s Palace.
He then emphasised the importance of mutual understanding and respect in building a strong relationship.
Notable personalities that attended the wedding ceremony include president Olusegun Obasanjo,Vice president Alhaji Atiku Abubalkar,former Senate president Olusola Saraki, former speaker House of Representatives Hon Aminu Tambuwal and amongst others.
