Many young people are looking for jobs to no avail. This is why some youths do not want to go to school to get a degree because those who have graduated with degrees from higher institutions can’t find good jobs.
Students spend years in higher institutions, yet they can’t secure jobs. Some graduates in Nigeria go for skill acquisition if they can’t secure a good-paying job. They work as fashion designers, barbers, hairdressers and so on; this discourages other young people from going to school.

Some youths can’t settle down to raise a family because of unemployment. Some go into depression; others have committed suicide.
It takes God’s grace and connection to secure a job in Nigeria, which does not have to be the case.
I am imploring the government to create job opportunities for the youth or organise skill acquisition programmes for the youth. This will reduce unemployment in the society.
