Pelumi Olajengbesi, an Abuja-based lawyer and activist, has offered heartfelt Christmas greetings to Nigerians, particularly the wonderful people of Ijesa North Federal Constituency.
This was contained in a statement personally signed and released to newsmen on Wednesday, December 25.
Olajengbesi, who described Christmas as a season of love, urged Nigerians to imbibe the teachings of Christ and extend love and support to friends and relatives.
He also acknowledged the current economic woes occasioned by fuel subsidy removal and inflation which has made life more difficult for average Nigerians.
He called on the government at all levels, including prominent Nigerians, to consciously work towards the genuine emancipation of the Nigerian people.
While acknowledging inflation and hunger in the country, he urged the rich and privileged individuals to help the poor financially or create opportunities for communal benefits.
