Quiet achievers often remain unnoticed, yet they possess remarkable qualities that empower them to flourish in their unassuming endeavours. While quiet achievers are known for their ability to think deeply and critically about a variety of issues, they however, take the time to reflect and analyse situations before making decisions, which often leads to successful outcomes.

Those who belong to this category are also known as sharp observers of their environment who have a knack for spotting minute details that others might not notice, hence, cleverly leverage this information to their benefit. Their keen observational and analytical skills empower them to devise innovative solutions to challenges.

This group of people who can be found in the different sectors of the country’s economy, fall into the category of those using their ingenuity in contributing to the growth of the various sectors.

Focusing on aviation, there are obviously individuals who have been able to carve a niche for themselves through their ability to create enabling and progressive environment in their areas of calling in line with international and standard practices, even in the sector that is bedeviled by numerous challenges.

Therefore, one of such game changers to watch out for in the new year is the Managing Director of Finchglow Holdings, a conglomerate of companies, Mr Bankole Bernard.

Finchglow Holdings is a premier aviation company providing comprehensive travel management, cargo services, and training across all sectors of the economy, including corporate entities, trade partners, and individuals.

It is a fact that while many businesses including those in the aviation sector have been struggling to survive amidst the hard times, the different companies that made up the Finchglow Holdings including the Lagos Aviation Academy, have quietly been weathering the storm in view of the business model adopted by Bernard.

The Finchglow Holdings MD who is known for deep thinking and ever ready to spend a lot of time exploring new ideas, has once again declared his intention to go the extra mile in the new year to spread his tentacles to critical areas that have not received deep attention from the government and other private investors.

In his first interactive session with the media, the Finchglow boss who highlighted his plans to contribute his quota to further raise the bar in the sector in year 2025, revealed how the holdings had already hit the ground running with plans to drive a paradigm shift in the Nigerian business landscape in 2025.

According to Bernard, in year 2025, the Finchglow may be deeply eyeing cargo axis of aviation business considering the low attention cargo business has enjoyed despite the huge financial potential available there.

Finchglow Holdings is therefore calling on its friends and partners to join it on its journey in 2025  towards a paradigm shift in the Nigerian business landscape.

In the new year, the company is committed to transparency, accountability, and a win-win approach to business hence, calling like-minded individuals and organizations to collaborate with.

During the interactive session with the media, Bernard, who revealed the plans of the company to make significant impact on the Nigerian business landscape, took time to highlight the company’s achievements in the previous year.

The Finchglow subsidiaries according to him, made significant strides in 2024, including the launch of its PartnerPlus program, which brought together smaller travel agencies and key players in the industry.

Also achieved by Finchglow Travels in 2024 was securing a major travel account with Shell, a leading energy company in Nigeria. The company is confident that it will make a significant impact on the organization and is committed to delivering value to its clients.

His ability to effectively package the training school, one of the subsidiaries that made up the conglomerates, Lagos Aviation Academy (LAA), has made the school attractive, not only to Nigerians but foreign students pursuing different career programs in the aviation school.

To further reposition the learning institution for greatness, a new training building which was launched in 2024 has over 100 students from United Kingdom, Ghana and Cameroon because of the uniqueness of its facility.

Though the Finchglow MD hardly makes noise, but he falls into the category of silent operators in his areas of calling ranging from travels and hospitality, professional training to providing services to international companies like Shell.

With the likes of the Finchglow MD, the government surely needs their contributions to help revive the image of the sector through many existing unpopular policies of the government which have remained the bane of the sector.
