In a heartfelt commitment to improving the lives of less privileged children in society, Mr. Emmanuel and Mrs. Suzan Erimide officially unveiled the Erimide Orphanage Home in Osogbo, Osun State. The new orphanage, located at the Abija Area, Awosuru, is designed to offer care and shelter to displaced and vulnerable children who have been abandoned or faced with various challenges.
The couple’s decision to establish the orphanage stems from their deep desire to provide a safe haven for children in need and to contribute meaningfully to the welfare and well-being of the less privileged members of society.

Speaking at the grand unveiling ceremony on Saturday, March 8, 2025, Mr. Emmanuel Erimide expressed his gratitude and emphasized that their goal was to create a nurturing environment where children could thrive.
“Our intentions are rooted in compassion and love,” Mr. Erimide said. “We hope this orphanage home will serve as a beacon of hope for those who need it most. It is a step towards ensuring a brighter future for the children who have no one to care for them.”
Religious leaders present at the event praised the couple for their generous initiative, calling it an example of true compassion and divine purpose. They affirmed that this act of kindness was in line with the values of love, empathy, and selflessness that God promotes.
The religious leaders also highlighted the importance of community service, urging everyone to contribute their part in making society a better place. “We must all love one another and show kindness to those in need,” said one of the religious leaders. “Such efforts leave a legacy that will be remembered long after we are gone.”
The unveiling ceremony was attended by key personalities from various sectors, including local government officials, community leaders, philanthropists, and well-wishers, all of whom expressed their support for the Erimides’ noble cause.
Their presence underscored the significance of the event and the collective effort needed to address the challenges faced by vulnerable children in society.
Mrs. Suzan Erimide, in her remarks, expressed gratitude to everyone for celebrating with them during the unveiling of the orphanage home. She acknowledged Apostle T.P. Onileowo for his vision and unwavering support in making the orphanage a reality. Mrs. Erimide shared that when she and her husband moved to Nigeria from America in 2018, they were searching for an orphanage to support underprivileged children. Their search led them to Moro, where they found a young girl at an orphanage and sponsored her education through to the university level.
She explained that it has always been her culture, since childhood, to care for children and assist those who are motherless or less privileged, which inspired the establishment of the Erimide Orphanage Home. She also thanked her husband for standing by her in this noble cause. Reflecting on her own life, Mrs. Erimide shared that she lost her father when she was still a young girl, and this experience fueled her desire to help others. Despite coming from a modest background, she has always been committed to supporting the less privileged.
Erimide Orphanage Home is now open to providing shelter, education, and a sense of belonging to children who have nowhere else to turn. The facility is committed to offering a safe, loving environment where children can grow, learn, and eventually build a brighter future.
