…. Youths, Women, Aged, Farmers, Artisans etc , To Benefit
In support of the State Government of Osun led by our performing Governor, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola to boost Youth/Women Empowerment and to alleviate Poverty, Dr . Desmond Oludare Ojumu , through his Foundation, is set to empower another batch of numerous Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituents as the Foundation used to do where widows, farmers, artisans and aged would be empowered. In this year’s Empowerment Programme, Ojumu Foundation is prepared to conduct Youth Empowerment/Graduation Ceremony for 150 youths selected across the 23 Wards of Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency who had undergone one year vocational training in various courses such as tailoring, hairdressing, barbing, ICT, electrical and welding. These prospective graduands will be given cash grants, free tools and materials such as sewing machines, hair dryers, welding machines, computers, generator and so on.
In addition, the empowerment programme will also feature Women Empowerment. Widows and business women will be considered for materials and cash grant to support their businesses.
Also, farmers, aged and artisans will have a cause to smile home on this remarkable day.
In the same vein, there will be Matriculation Ceremony for the new set of youths who will be enrolled for 2022 Skill Acquisition Empowerment Programme for another one year.
Courses available are Tailoring, Hairdressing, Barbing, ICT, Electrical, Welding and Photography.
This is indeed a mother of all Empowerments and all inclusive one which will take place on Saturday 7th May 2022 by the Special Grace of God.
