Three men have died in a road crash that injured four other persons on the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
It was gathered that a Toyota Corrola car (with registration number, FKJ848FH) lost control and ran into motorcycles waiting at the Arepo bus stop to pick up passengers.
The accident occurred at about 12:30 PM on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, around Arepo bus stop, Ogun State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed that eight persons – seven men and one woman were involved in the accident.
While the woman and three other men sustained injuries, one person was rescued unhurt.
“A total of three persons were killed, all male adults,” the FRSC said, adding that five vehicles were involved.
The spokesperson of the FRSC in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, disclosed that the injured victims have been conveyed to Beachland Hospital and ROA Hospital, all in Arepo.
Okpe said two of the dead bodies were taken by the Hausa community at Arepo for burial, while the remaining one was taken to Divine Touch Hospital’s morgue. Continue Reading
