Nationnewslead reports that A suspected impostor was apprehended on Wednesday in Ilesha, Osun State, while attempting to take the teachers’ recruitment examination for a woman.

The suspect (name withheld) was reportedly arrested at a centre at the College of Education, Ilesha.

He was said to be impersonating a woman believed to be his wife.

The state Commissioner for Education, Mr Folorunsho Oladoyin, in a statement, condemned the incident.

The statement, issued by the Information Officer of the Ministry of Education, Roseline Olawuni, said the suspect had been handed over to law enforcement agents for further investigation and prosecution.

“It is shameful that somebody who wants to teach students academically and morally could be involved in fraudulent acts,” Oladoyin was quoted to have said in the statement.
