The Adamawa state police command has charged the 120 newly decorated ASPs of the command to be up and doing in discharging their duties.
CP Morris Dankwabo gave the charge today Wednesday while decorating the newly promoted officers from the rank of Inspectors to Assistant Superintendent of Police in Yola.
“Your elevation did not come as a flock, but through your dedication and hard work, I must tell you, to whom much is given, much is expected.”
“You have been found worthy of this rank; you are now a senior police officer; thus, you must conduct yourselves in like manner.”
He congratulated all the newly promoted officers and urged them to put in more effort in the discharge of their duties.
In his vote of thanks and appreciation to the police high command, ASP Yohanna Chari said this promotion would not have been possible without the supervisory roles of the Adamawa state command and the management team.
While assuring the police command that they will live up to their responsibilities with a high sense of empathy, justice, and full adherence to the international human rights practices of the citizens, he paid tribute to the late ASP Ndatra Ali, who was called to glory after passing the departmental selection board interview.
