As Nigerians, including the good people of Osun State, express their genuine concerns and frustrations amidst growing unrest, it’s essential to acknowledge the real hardship caused by hunger and poverty across our nation. As a former leader and civilian, I understand the daily struggles you face, and it’s crucial that your voices are heard and validated.
However, as protests are planned, I urge all Nigerians to refrain from taking the law into their hands. Our nation’s strength lies in unity and addressing issues through peaceful and constructive means. Allowing individuals with ulterior motives to hijack protests can lead to chaos and undermine legitimate grievances.
Violence and lawlessness won’t bring about change; instead, they’ll deepen divisions and exacerbate problems. I have confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership and commitment to Nigeria’s development. Nevertheless, it’s imperative that the government swiftly addresses the people’s grievances.
I appeal to President Tinubu to listen to Nigerians’ cries and take immediate action to alleviate suffering. The concerns about hunger, poverty, and governance require urgent attention, and swift action will demonstrate the administration’s commitment to every Nigerian’s well-being.
In conclusion, while voicing concerns and demanding better governance is crucial, let’s do so while upholding the rule of law and preserving peace. I have faith in President Tinubu’s administration and its ability to lead our nation towards a brighter future. Through dialogue and cooperation, we can overcome challenges and build a prosperous Nigeria for all. Let’s remain united, peaceful, and hopeful as we work towards a better future.
God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria.
