In its determination to ensure job security and promote Information and Communication Technology-ICT in Ekiti State, Agbeyewa Farms Limited, an indigenously owned company, has presented portable computers to members of the legislative arm of the State Government.
Mr. Dapo Oriola, the Executive Director of Community Engagement of Agbeyewa farms made the presentation yesterday at the Ekiti State Governor’s Office, Ado Ekiti.
Akingbolu, who represented the Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, expressed gratitude the to the group and assured them of the commitment of the Assembly to enacting laws that would continue to make the state conducive for investment.
The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, represented by his chief of staff, Mr. Tolu Ibitola lauded Agbeyewa farms for its gesture and used the occasion to call on sons and daughters of Ekiti State to support government in her efforts to empower its citizens by creating jobs.
The Governor lauded plans by Agbeyewa group to establish a $63 million cassava processing factory and other agricultural projects in the state.
He said the initiative will further open the state to job opportunities along the value chain and strengthen the economy.
