Governor of Ondo State and flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 16 governorship election, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assured the people of Ese-Odo Local Government Area (LGA) of comprehensive attention to security, infrastructure and health challenges if elected.

The governor stated this on Tuesday in Ese-Odo LGA during his campaign tour of local governments ahead of the election.

Aiyedatiwa, who said security of lives and property was his primary duty as a governor, said he understood the peculiar challenges of Ese-Odo.

He urged them to support his election bid to continue the work he had commenced.

“Security is my primary duty as governor, and I will continue to prioritise it to safeguard the lives and property of our people.”

“I understand the challenges you have raised, especially the sea incursion, education, healthcare, and the need for durable infrastructure. We are working to address these issues comprehensively.

“The entire state is united in calling for the continuation of the good work we’ve started. I ask for your votes to ensure we keep moving forward.

“We appreciate your support, and we will repay this love through projects that directly benefit you,” he assured.

Responding, the traditional ruler of Bolowou, Anananawe of Bolowou, (Pere), Judge Jemine, who welcomed the governor, expressed gratitude for the Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to development across the state.

“We are not surprised by the infrastructural progress we see today because we saw it coming.

“Your administration has always shown a clear commitment to the people, and we are pleased to see those promises materialise.

“We appreciate the appointments of our sons and daughters into political offices. This shows you recognise the value and capabilities within our communities. It makes us proud and strengthens our trust in your leadership,” he said.
