The Ajemba of Ijemba, Oba Adewale Oluwabukunmi Sunday Adeleke, Alowolo II, has extended warm wishes to Muslims as they celebrate Eid-El-Fitr, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan. In a statement issued from the palace, the monarch expressed joy and solidarity with the Muslim ummah in Ijemba, praying for the acceptance of their fasting as acts of ibadah by Almighty Allah.
Emphasizing the importance of righteous living, Oba Adewale oluwabukunmi urged Muslims to maintain the virtues cultivated during Ramadan, steering clear of sinful acts and upholding righteousness in their daily lives.
In his message, the monarch also extended felicitations to various dignitaries and communities, including the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, and the paramount ruler of Ijesa land, Oba Adekunle Gabriel Aromolaran LLB. He also acknowledged the contributions of all Muslim believers in Ijemba Kingdom, the President of Ijesa South Traditional Council of Obas, the Ogboni of Ipole Ijesa, Alayeluwa Oba Oyebade Samson Omokehinde Oyeleye, and other prominent figures.
Furthermore, Oba Adewale urged the sons and daughters of Ijemba to actively participate in the rapid development initiatives underway in the town. He encouraged them not to relent in their prayers and sacrifices for the continued progress and prosperity of Ijemba.
