The recently crowned Ajemba of Ijemba Ijesa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adewale Sunday Oluwabukunmi Adeleke Alowolodu II, graced the congregation of CGODEC INT HEADQUARTERS church with his presence to extend heartfelt thanks to the Almighty for his successful ascension to the throne.

In his thanksgiving address, the Ajemba of Ijemba Ijesa shared a poignant testimony, attributing his life’s successes to divine intervention through his affiliation with the CGODEC INT church. He recounted how his faith and participation in the church community had paved the way for his advancements, including notable positions within the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), culminating in his coronation as the Ajemba of Ijemba Ijesa.

During his speech, the monarch emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity and faithfulness, urging all church members to uphold their moral values steadfastly. He cautioned against actions that could tarnish their reputation, emphasizing the paramount importance of integrity in their lives.

Additionally, Oba Adewale implored the congregation to refrain from speaking against men of God, distinguishing between preachers and those he described as having received divine revelations. He cautioned that speaking ill of such individuals could invoke undesirable consequences and urged attendees to distance themselves from such negativity.

The Sunday service marked Oba Adewale Sunday Oluwabukunmi Adeleke Alowolodu II’s inaugural appearance as the Ajemba of Ijemba Ijesa. Despite uncertainties surrounding the event, the monarch assured attendees of the blessings that awaited them.

Expressing gratitude, the Ajemba extended appreciation to his family members for their unwavering support throughout his journey to kingship. He also acknowledged the contributions of the people of Iloko Ijesa, HRM Oba Dr. Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, and other well-wishers, whose solidarity had been instrumental in his success.

As the congregation concluded the service, the air was imbued with a sense of reverence and gratitude, marking a significant moment in the spiritual journey of the newly installed Ajemba of Ijemba Ijesa.
