The Kogi State Governor-elect, Ododo Ahmed has said that all hands must be on deck for this job placed into his hands to be properly done.

He stated this when the management of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, paid him a congratulatory message led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Salawu Sadiku.

He described his victory at the gubernatorial poll as one that is for all and sundry in Kogi State.

The governor-elect described the election as one of the most peaceful in Kogi State.

He let the visiting CUSTECH management staff know that the visit was not his but for the governor, Yahaya Bello.

He added that he will continue to appreciate the governor as I am not the most handsome, intelligent or peaceful but God Almighty placed it in his heart to give me this enormous load.

Speaking further, the governor-elect thanked the management staff of CUSTECH, Osara for working hard to make the varsity what it is today. This visit he said will further spur the government to do more work for CUSTECH, Osara and the entire state.

He thanked the Vice Chancellor, a man he referred to as ‘A father and tutor’ for coming with the management staff to celebrate with him.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Sadiku in his address gave all thanks to God Almighty for a successful governorship election that brought in Ododo as the governor-elect.

He celebrated Ododo as one who has found great favour and grace in the hands of his maker.

He heartily congratulated him on behalf of the entire CUSTECH, Osara community for this great victory that God has wrought for him while he also appreciated his contributions to the development of the institution.

The Registrar of CUSTECH, Osara, Ms Olufunke Hudson gave the vote of thanks after which the visiting CUSTECH management took their exit.

According to Balogun Omeiza David Head, Public Relations Unit, CUSTECH, Osara, other management members in the team are; the Registrar, Ms Olufunke Hudson, Bursar, Mr John Alaji, Librarian, Mr Jeremiah Salifu and the Director, Works and Maintenance, Arc. Usman M. Ahmed.
