Fuji music icon, Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has expressed gratitude to Almighty God after surviving a life-threatening surgery.

The music star shared this in an Instagram post on Saturday.

Obesere, who stated that God has been merciful to him, revealed that the surgery almost claimed his life, but he escaped death.

He wrote, “Alhamdulillah. The Almighty Allah has been merciful to me. I escaped a surgery that almost took my life but Allah said NO!”

Celebrities, fans, and well-wishers of the ‘Omorapala’, as he is fondly called, have taken to the comment section of the post to wish him a speedy recovery from the successful surgery.
