The appointment of Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as Chairman of Nigeria Sugar Council by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ,the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a testament to his leadership qualities which he has been exhibiting since his emergence as Commissioner of Special Duties in Osun State 14 years ago. His performances as Attorney General , Senator and presently as Natonal Secretary of the rulling Party are excellent.
We at ALUBARIKA MOVEMENT know quite alright that Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as the Chairman of Nigeria Sugar Council will lead to increase in Sugar production , improve Sugar productivity, enhance Sugar Industry competitiveness and create employment opportunities in the Sugar industry to contribute to the economic growth and development.
